Construction of Sonora Garden Residences resumes

Construction of Sonora Garden Residences, the joint venture project of Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC) and DMCI Homes in Las Piñas, had resumed following the easing of community quarantine measures in Metro Manila. "Construction of Sonora Garden Residences is moving forward, taking into consideration the national and local governments' guidelines and requirements in preventing the spread of COVID-19," RLC DMCI Property Ventures Inc. said in a statement. RLC and DMCI Homes launched the three-building condominium development within the Robinsons Mall Las Pinas Complex, near Alabang-Zapote Road, late last year as it planned to build a private community with convenient access to all the essentials south of Metro Manila. The 1.45-hectare property will bring future residents closer to retail and dining destinations, supermarkets, business centers, airports, universities, and health institutions that are attuned to a convenient and comfortable new normal lifestyle. The resort-inspired development is ideal for young professionals and startup families as all three buildings-- Cadence, Liran and Stellan, feature larger than usual DMCI unit cuts spanning 28 to 83.5 square meters (sqm) with balcony. Two of the three buildings, Cadence and Liran, will bear DMCI Homes’ proprietary Lumiventt® Design Technology to allow more natural light and air to permeate the residential units. This design innovation not only reduces electricity usage but also brings positive health benefits by virtue of cross-ventilation and natural illumination. RLC’s Bridgetowne: Home to the Country’s Largest Telco-Neutral Data Center

Bridgetowne, Robinsons Land Corporation’s destination estate, is gearing up to be the country’s premier integrated smart city as it has been chosen as the site for the Philippines’ largest carrier-neutral data center. Beeinfotech PH, a local data center services provider, has leased out RLC’s Campus One development in Bridgetowne to house its core data operations. Billed as a “telco-neutral” data center, the facility will allow the interconnection between multiple telecommunications carriers, enabling it to serve all technology and network providers. “Beeinfotech PH occupies our Campus One development, which has close to 19,000 square meters of data center space. It will also build a power center on a 1,500 square meter plot of land, which is adjacent to their leased premises,” said RLC Senior Vice President and Office Buildings Division General Manager Jericho Go. Go said Beeinfotech PH initially shortlisted and eventually signed the lease for the building as it can pass the stringent requirements of a Tier 3 data center. A dedicated power center is also being developed by Beeinfotech PH to provide multiple layers of redundancy for its power supply needs. Go pointed out that having a data center is a boon for the Bridgetowne destination estate as the technology, combined with the site’s robust infrastructure, help put it in the best position to become the leading fully functional and integrated smart city development in the country. BPO tenants and office occupiers will have easy access to a world-class data center facility within Bridgetowne, addressing their growing needs for data center services. Tenants can choose the operating expense (OPEX) model by leasing from Beeinfotech PH to help them manage their cashflow better. Spaces inside leased premises that used to house data center equipment can now be converted into production seats to increase revenues for BPO companies. Campus One has close to 19,000 square meters of leasable space spread across three large floorplates of more than 6,000 square meters per floor, plus a power center located at an adjacent lot. The power substation within its development gives assurance of adequate power supply, given that operating a data center requires high volumes of electricity. “Campus One in Bridgetowne is the ideal location for this project as it is serviced by multiple telco providers, and the area is flood-free and far away from the earthquake faultline,” said Beeinfotech PH President and CEO Reynaldo Huergas. Bridgetowne is highly accessible via various modes of transportation because of its excellent location, being bounded by three major roads – C5, Ortigas Avenue, and Amang Rodriguez Avenue.
